Tropical Garden from New York City Florist CitiFloral
If you look at our websites, you will see an arrangement called Tropical Garden, which I made for Ira Golden for this 65th birthday. Ira took the picture himself. He was an accomplished photographer who took pictures for a wonderful article about CitiFloral in Teleflora’s Flowers & Magazine. I met Ira when we were both acting as “press,” me as a sports writer, him as a sports photographer. Later, I also took photographs. We spent many great nights at Madison Square Garden. We spoke all the time. But, then my day was shattered when Jean, his wife, called to tell me he had died at age 72. He is sorely missed, but Tropical Garden will live on as a reminder of Ira.
